Elina Svitolina defeated the world No. 1 Iga Swiatek in a thrilling quarterfinal match at Wimbledon in a stunning upset. Svitolina secured a remarkable victory with a score of 7-5, 6-7 (7-5), 6-2.

Svitolina, currently ranked 76th in the world, has made an impressive comeback just three months after giving birth to her first child.

When Swiatek was down 5-6, she sat courtside during the changeover, diligently scribbling into a notepad. However, despite her efforts to jot down self-help tips, they did not prove effective.

Svitolina claimed the set for the third time as Swiatek pushed a backhand volley wide, leaving her feeling broken.
