Paige VanZant Early Life

Paige Michelle VanZant was born in Dundee, Oregon, on March 26, 1994. However, she spent most of her childhood in Dayton, also located in the state of Oregon. She spent almost 13 years training in various dance forms, including ballet, jazz, and hip-hop, at the dance studio that her parents ran.

During her childhood, she was known as a tomboy since she was more interested in playing sports and other outdoor activities than playing video games or spending time on social media.

Her moniker, “12 Gauge,” came from the fact that she and her father spent much time outdoors together fishing and hunting.

She is the younger of two children, and she played boxing with her older brother and other boys from the area when she was younger. She was extremely enthusiastic about riding dirt bikes.

At the age of eight, she got her very first all-terrain vehicle.

She started as a kid entertainer. She made an appearance as a teenager in a mop advertisement for Bissell. At that school, she was an active member of the varsity cheerleading team.

She was one of the shortest children at the school, being only approximately 5 feet tall. As a result, she was bullied by a gang of female pupils.

After she had completed her first year of high school, her family moved to Sparks, Nevada, where she continued her education at TMCC High School, from which she graduated in 2012.

Paige VanZant BKFC Career

Paige Vanzant made her BKFC debut at BKFC Knucklemania versus Britain Hart. During the fight, Paige VanZant appeared to be interested in clinching.

As a result of her straight punch combos, Hart could take control of the battle in the opening four rounds and look to outbox her opponent. In the fifth round, Paige VanZant staged a successful comeback.

Although she put Hart in a defensive position, she could not knock her out. Because of this, the judges all decided that Paige should come out on the losing end of the battle.

Paige faced Rachel Ostovich, an opponent she had previously prevailed over in the UFC, in the second bout of her career in the BKFC. Paige VanZant could not match Ostovich’s intensity and adaptability throughout the fight, which resulted in Ostovich winning round 1 even though both combatants invested substantially in power blows.

The second round favored Paige VanZant , who began to exert more control over the fight range due to her jabs. Ostovich adjusted his fighting style to account for the thrust and began responding with overhand punches.

Rachel rocked Paige VanZant in the fourth round of the battle, but she could not finish the job and stopped the bout. Paige was able to win the game, but she could not put Ostovich in a position where she could be defeated and knock her out.
